Annual Winetasting and Auction Fundraiser

Enjoy an elegant afternoon of delicious sips, great bites, and a little contribution to charity at this annual event that will appeal to anyone with a taste for both local and global flavors. The Oak Island Beach Preservation Society's Annual Winetasting and Auction Fundraiser is an engaging opportunity to meet and mingle with folks around the community, while supporting a local cause and enjoying plenty of fine cuisine and exceptional wines along the way.

The event will feature a variety of distinctive wines that represent six varying grape varieties from all around the world. The wines will be paired with tempting hors d'oeuvres from Island Way and other local restaurants, plus deli delicacies and fruits from local sponsors. During the event, and in between sips, attendees can enjoy both the action of a live auction and the strategy of a silent auction during the corresponding fundraisers that will feature a delightful array of items up for grabs, many of which are homemade and locally created. With proceeds going to the Oak Island Beach Preservation Trust Fund to help pay the local share of public beach preservation and education projects, the event is a great way to celebrate the landscape and the flavors of Oak Island and beyond.
