Enjoy a taste of Italy while admiring the waterfront heart of Southport with a visit to Joseph’s Italian Bistro. Located next to a cluster of marinas, and featuring a fine view of the adjacent Intracoastal Waterway, this restaurant is popular with visitors and locals alike for its lovely on-the-water sunsets, intimate dining area, and fine collection of classic and more creative Italian fare.
The menu is extensive, and includes a big variety of appetizers, chicken and veal dishes, seafood dishes, and "Sea & Land" specialties which include a nice selection of pastas, steaks, fresh catches, and other meaty dishes (like a Bone-in prime pork chop, and a rack of lamb.) Diners can enjoy something traditional by ordering one of the classic pasta or veal / chicken entrees, like the Linguine Ala Carbonara, the homemade lasagna, or the Chicken / Veal Parmigiana or Marsala, or can satisfy a seafood craving by perusing the nice collection of seafood dishes that utilize shrimp, scallops, mussels, and even soft shell crabs. When paired with a bottle of wine, (there’s an equally long wine list), a fresh dessert, and a brilliant view, visitors will attest that Joseph’s Italian Bistro is the place to go for fresh Italian fare that’s wonderfully romantic and satisfying.
