The Oak Island Earth Day Festival takes place at the centrally located Middleton Park, and is open to visitors of all ages. During the event, expect to see exhibits and activities from a range of area organizations and businesses, such as the Ft. Fisher Aquarium outreach program, local beekeepers, Sea Biscuit Bird Rescue, NC Coastal Federation, and many more. There will be plenty of accompanying activities for kids and adults alike, and the event is an especially great way for kids to learn all about how they can help the planet in the coastal area, and close to home.
