The Ride the Tide: Kayak Float takes place along the Davis Canal and Montgomery Slough, and is a scenic course that glides towards the Intracoastal Waterway. (Participants can register in advance, and discounts are given for early registration.) On race day, paddlers will follow the flow of the tide as they float or paddle towards the finish line, where even more fun is waiting. After the race, the event will also feature a poker run, a costume contest for participants, as well as a wealth of prizes and refreshments for attendees.
