We offer a entirely equipped kitchen for preparing family meals and installed a REVERSE OSMOSIS (RO) water filtration system for chemical complimentary drinking water & ice. There are multiple coffee stores within 2 blocks and our Keurig coffee pot with organic pods are furnished so you can also savor a cup of coffee in our impressive gardens.

In addition to Central Heat/AC, all rooms have ceiling fans, window blinds & Intelligent TV's (65"/50"/32"), Nest speakers & digital antenna; no cable tv. Our private home is on one level; no stairs.

IMPORTANT TO NOTE: The Abbey, once home for clergy of the neighboring church, is generally a peaceful neighborhood. We provide Yoga sleep sound machines (made here in Wilmington) but should you have noise sensitivities, please prepare accordingly and bring noise cancelling air buds or consider a rental outside of the central business district. Wilmington restricts excessive noise after12 midnight Friday & Saturday and after 11 pm Sunday > Thursday. We are not responsible nor offer refunds for city sounds.

About the Area

Located on a river, this vacation home is in Downtown Wilmington, a neighborhood in Wilmington. Burgwin-Wright House and Latimer House are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Children's Museum of Wilmington and Regal Mayfaire. Cape Fear Museum and Wilmington Railroad Museum are also worth visiting. Take an opportunity to explore the area for water adventures such as motor boating.
