Our top Rental booking tips:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, consider shifting your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitors guide magazines contain money saving offers on nearby accommodations, tours and attractions.

Narrow your Search:

  • Start by selecting your trip dates and a spending budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration you need. Lavender Guesthouse - A Private Oasis Downtown. has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually accessible on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property management company before booking your home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you visiting for a specific attraction or event? Try a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Request information on breed, size, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.

Tips for a great stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your visit, inspect the rental for any problem areas when you arrive. Call the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a great vacation? Many rental management companies make it easy for guests to provide comments. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
