Sail Wilmington NC

Enjoy a view of Downtown Wilmington from the middle of the Cape Fear River with a sailing tour provided by Sail Wilmington NC. This friendly sailing tour company allows visitors to catch an in-depth perspective of Wilmington the way it deserves to be seen – from the waterfront – resulting in wonderful photos ops and lifetime memories along the way.

The tours are commandeered by Capt. Alan Held and First Mate Kaete and are held on-board the comfortable 30’ ft. long boat, the “Jammin’.” Capt. Alan has more than 35 years of sailing experience, and will make patrons feel right at ease from first launch, and can even help newcomers “take the wheel” and learn a few sailing basics while en route. All trips are private and can comfortably accommodate 6 people, with tours lasting roughly 1-2 hours of so. Visitors can also enjoy a myriad of options, including a morning tour with continental breakfast, a "Picnic on the Cape Fear River" Tour, an “Iron Genny Historic Harbor Excursion,” and a relaxing Sunset Cruise. With miles of views in every direction, and a laid-back environment throughout, Sail Wilmington NC provides purely engaging and serene Port City tours which showcase the beauty of the Downtown Wilmington Waterfront.
