Silver Dollar

Silver Dollar is a fine representation of what makes “Pleasure Island” a popular destination for the after-hours crowd. Located along the Carolina Beach Boardwalk, and sandwiched in between a couple of cool bars, restaurants, and shops, this restaurant and nightspot is a convenient spot for beachgoers to kick off their flip flops and have some fun.

The food at Silver Dollar is almost overshadowed by the evening entertainment, but hungry patrons won’t want to overlook the menu, which features unique specialties like a Brie appetizer with apples and toast points, a chicken salad sandwich, and a decadently hearty beef and pinto bean chili that’s a nice option on the colder winter months. The desserts are also worth a look, and include daily homemade specialties like Almond Joy brownies and Creamsicle Cake, and night owls will want to stick around after a bite for a full evening of cold drinks and fun. Silver Dollar features regular drink specials and karaoke, and is known as one of the best spots along the boardwalk to sing your heart out over a round of drinks with friends. Fun for lunch, dinner, or a well after-hours visit, Silver Dollar is a fine addition to the ample Carolina Beach nightlife scene.
