The Dive is an ultra-casual little spot that’s a fun destination for the after-hours beach crowd. Located just off of US 421, and bordered by a collection of beach bars, motels and restaurants, this little establishment is a subtle addition to Carolina Beach’s always bustling late night scene.
The big draw at the Dive is the bar itself and the ice cold drinks. Featuring a fun and beachy atmosphere, with a long bar, a handful of additional seating options, and a pool table, Happy Hour and late night visitors will be treated to daily drink specials, which can range from bottled beers or brews on draft, to shots and mixed drinks. Hungry patrons will find a decent selection of pub grub as well, including staples like honey BBQ wings, fish and chips, spicy crab balls, shrimp and grits, and regular specials like super-gooey pimento cheese fries. The fare is served in baskets with plastic cutlery, which makes The Dive a good spot for casual beach fare in a fun environment. Suitable for ice cold drinks after a day at the beach, or a bite to eat to complement an evening on the town, The Dive is a laid-back hub for entertainment for both Carolina Beach locals and visitors alike.
