GOLF CARTS

•To the county, golf carts are considered automobiles. Generally speaking, golf carts are NOT allowed on premises of ANY condo, condotel, or apartment. The same goes for trailers, motorbikes, etc. For SFR’s or properties supporting multiple cars, carts should be OK. However, be conscious that few homes have external outlets WITHOUT GFCI’S (which are code by today’s standards). Charging a cart on a GFCI will immediately trip the breaker, resulting in the inability to charge a cart amongst other repercussions. Gas carts will generally be the ideal rental option if in a home whose parking supports such.

Brunswick area vacation rental tips and tricks:

When to reserve a Brunswick area rental & When to go:

  • Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • To get the best value, change your group's vacation dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a price reduction.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, visitors guide magazines have offers and deals for local shops and restaurants.

How to pick the best vacation home:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and choose a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your family requires. \"Paradise Palms\" palm trees and balconies! has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always available on booking pages. If you don't see them listed, reach out to the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You'll need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Ask for details on breed, size, and type restrictions. Often, property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area attraction you crave, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking

Have a great stay:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your .
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, stereo or WIFI setup. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call prevents quite a few issues.
  • Lock your rental home while you're out. Keep your property safe!
  • Document any issues with the rental during check in, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are valuable if damages are attributed to your stay.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can often help. Who better to ask where to find the best bike paths, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on great ratings to drive new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
