Spend the day exploring downtown Wilmington, heading to the beach, or checking out close by favorites like the Cargo District. Then come home to relax in the private hot tub, appreciate a game nighttime with board games and an arcade, prepare together in the full kitchen, or simply relax and enjoy the warmth and unique details of a home with more than a century of Wilmington history.
The neighborhood has Hollywood history of its own, too. One Tree Hill fans will recognize Carolina Place as home to numerous filming locations, including the home used as Lucas Scott’s home just blocks away. Scenes from Halloween Kills were filmed only a block away at Wallace Park, and close by New Hanover High School has appeared in productions including One Tree Hill, Blue Velvet, Dream a Little Dream, and The Runarounds. Wilmington’s long history as a film and T.V. destination adds another fun layer to discover during your stay.
Parking is painless with two dedicated on-site spaces, plus additional street parking available.
With historic charm, plenty of space to gather, a private hot tub, and a convenient location near downtown, the beaches, and some of Wilmington’s most recognizable spots, The Byrd’s Nest is a memorable home base for family trips, wedding weekends, get-togethers, beach getaways, and weekends with friends.
