How to find the best Holden Beach vacation rental experience:

Getting the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summertime is the most expensive season in the Brunswick area area. Booking a rental in Fall or Spring months is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers usually offer guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Look for your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine upon checking in. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great local articles, visitor guides contain discounts for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Make a plan and pick the perfectrental home:

  • Choose your vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the bed configuration your group requires. \"Waters Edge 429-B\" - Oceanfront Condo w\/ Community Pool, 2 Bedrooms \/ 2 Bathrooms has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is regularly accessible on booking pages. If not, call the property management company before reserving the rental. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you must reserve a pet-friendly rental. Get specifics on breed, size, and type restrictions. Usually, hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's an individual Brunswick area attraction you simply love, look for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

More tips for your visit:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Save the directions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or kitchen appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Lock your vacation home while you're out. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • To make certain no damages are attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the host immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting noise limits and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to propel new reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best rental home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
