Strategies to get the perfect Brunswick area vacation property experience:

When to visit Ocean Isle Beach & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. Booking in the Fall or Spring is our favorite way to save money on your vacation. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Make a plan and choose your prefectvacation home:

  • Select your vacation week and budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. All the Ocean Views has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is regularly accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, email the property owner before reserving the property. Remember that most properties list maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • Looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters for amenities. Filtering by amenity will allow you to quickly find the perfect rental.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before booking
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for details on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts charge pet deposits and fees.

Advice for a great stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during check in. text the property manager right away to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Neighbors can frequently help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Protect your property!
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at departure. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your group have a great stay? Most rental websites make it easy for guests to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was terrific, they would love to hear about it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
