NEW TO Vacation Rental By Owner FOR 2024! Don’t be deterred by the lack of reviews, my property was managed by a local property management company until late 2023 and is brand new to Vacation Rental By Owner. I am a Super Host on another platform for another property I own, so be assured you are in good hands!

Book your vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• The sooner your group can book, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
• Some property management companies offer special rates for veterans. Remember to ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.

Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You'll need to work out what configuration is right for your vacation.

• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
• Lock your rental home while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, take pictures of the property to record its condition.
• Did your family have a great stay? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental property and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.
