\"Idle Hour\" Family Friendly Retreat - Vacation rental home in Ocean Isle Beach, NC

Discover the enchanting oceanside village of Ocean Isle Beach and appreciate your ideal hideaway at our four-bedroom holiday home. Cozy SMOKE COMPLIMENTARY family home, 4 bedroom, 2 bath with ground level but inside shower, 5 min. walk to the beach and great proximity to handicapped beach access. Cart, kids toys and beach chairs are supplied. Second street runs parallel to Ocean front. Showers are available at the beach access and car and golf cart parking are also available if desired. MUST be at least 28 years old to rent. Saturday to Saturday units are needed during peak rental season.

I like to say the kitchen is vintage! Although not yet refreshed, it is equipped with all needed amenities including refrigerator, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, blender and Keurig coffee maker (both cups and carafe). The bar area seats 4 and the kitchen table seats 6.

The den area is equipped with a flat screen TV. High speed internet is included at no additional charge. Roku present for streaming.

Upstairs bathroom has a newly updated stand up shower with hand held wand. Downstairs bathroom has a stand up shower with hand held wand.

There are 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs bedrooms. One upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a flat screen TV. The other upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and 1 twin bed. A downstairs bedroom also has a queen bed, twin bed and a flat screen TV. The final bedroom has 2 twin beds. Mattresses are new and comfortable. All TV's have Roku present for streaming. There is also a washer and dryer for your convenience.

This home has had freshly updates/renovations over the past 5 years to include a washer/dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher. The deck and entry stairs were rebuilt in 2017. The air conditioner is 3 years old. Deck chairs are supplied. There is a gas grille located at ground level for your grilling needs. Disposable grate covers are available for use. Grille MUST be used on the ground level.

There is an electrical outlet on the ground level designated for a golf cart.

Ocean Isle/Brunswick County has many amenities including tennis, 40+ golf courses and many options for runners, walkers and bikers. The Island is 7 miles from point to point.

There is a new and expanded Recreation Park on the island. Great for kids and adults. Each Friday evening from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day, savor a complimentary live band. Movie nights are also a must do if on the island with young kids.

Hard surface tennis courts and a kids's play area are available on Georgetown Road ~1 mile north of the bridge.

OIB and surrounding islands have magnificant eateries and grocery stores (Publix, Food Lion, Lowes Foods). Also 10 mins. from Calabash, 30 mins. from North Myrtle Beach, 10 mins. from Shallotte (Walmart, Lowes Home Improvement, Home Depot), 1 hour from Wilmington.
