Carolina Beach rental property booking tips:
How to get the best rental value:
- Summer time is high season in the Brunswick area area. Book your Brunswick area vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
- The sooner your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation home.
- Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
- Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for more information.
- Many property management companies supply Brunswick area area visitor guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered directly by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area area magazine and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.
Narrow your Search:
- First and foremost, have your family decide on trip dates and a spending budget.
- Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. NEW LISTING! A Treasure to Sea (4-Bedroom Villa) has 4 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
- Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is commonly available on booking websites. If not, email the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which often includes pull out couches in living rooms. You will need to determine what configuration is optimal for your vacation family.
- If there's a specific Brunswick area attraction you are enamored with, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your needs.
- Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests that require the use of a wheelchair. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before reserving a rental.
- Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Extra fees or charges applied to your agreement.
More tips for your stay:
- We recommend storing the manager's contact information in your smartphone.
- Make a record of any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the host. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if there is a dispute.
- Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, A/V setup or washer/dryer. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief telephone call can prevent quite a few problems.
- Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a fantastic source for finding the best local attractions.
- Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
- Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
- Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
- Record a video to document the condition of the property.
- Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
