Getting the best Carolina Beach vacation property experience:

When to book & When to go:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. Book your Brunswick area vacation in Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property management companies often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and fuel stations. In addition to great articles, visitors guides contain coupons for local attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select your vacation week and spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group requires. Rooftop w\/Ocean View, 3 min walk to the Beach & famous Ocean Grille & Tiki Bar!\n has 4 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area rental home search.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts & types is usually available on booking pages. If not, contact the host before you reserve the property. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds in living rooms. You will need to establish which bed configuration is optimal for your vacation.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Suitable accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • If your family is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Request details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your . Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • To ensure that damages are not attributed to your stay, record any problem areas upon your arrival. text the rental manager immediately to record any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Keep your property safe!
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all personal items at departure. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a fantastic time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your rental and/or host was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was inoperable and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
