Welcome to “Carolina Winds”, our second home that we selectively rent to guests, referrals and friends.

This second row Condo features two bedrooms, two baths, and both ocean and canal vistas. Conveniences include private pool, cable T.V., WiFi, 46” LED flat screen, flat screens TVs in both bedrooms, full-sized, front-load washer and dryer, granite counter tops and an over sized deck (14x20) that is ideal for outdoor dining and watching the fireworks. A queen bed in each room and a queen sleeper/couch will accommodate up to 6 adults and pack-n-play will take care of the infant or toddler. The condo is gorgeously decorated with fun beach colors and is a marvelous place for a family vacation, charming hideaway or girl’s weekend.

This Condo has multiple beach access points directly across the street. No need to load-down the minivan; the storage area includes body boards, beach chairs, an umbrella and buckets for building sand castles!

We are a 5 min. walk to the Boardwalk which features the infamous Britt’s Donuts, seasonal rides, stores and eateries, fireworks on Thursday nights and other major holidays and Sunday nighttime movies at the lake. Just a few blocks from the condo is the Marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat units.

Carolina Beach is home to this condo. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • Summertime is high season in the Brunswick area area. To book the largest rental home within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for additional information.

  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies is the right thing to do.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can typically help. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Keep the property locked while you're out! Don't let burglars spoil your holiday.
  • At departure, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent feedback to stimulate new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will be thankful you shared your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
