Tips and Tricks to get the perfect Brunswick area vacation property experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. Reserve your rental property in Fall or Spring months to enjoy gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family.
  • Property management companies often offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area visitors guide magazines which will include special deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a relationship between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Make a plan and choose yourrental home:

  • Start by having your family agree to dates and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Fishful Thinking at Ocean Isle Beach, Canal front w/ boat dock, Ocean Views , kayak and paddle board has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is usually available on booking pages. If they are not listed, email the property manager before you reserve the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish which bed configuration is best for your trip.
  • If your family is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for details on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a particular Brunswick area destination you love, browse homes that are either near by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, television set or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • To make sure that no damages are attributed to your visit, make a record of any problem areas during arrival. text the host immediately to report your findings. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of problems and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant visitors bothering your home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at check-out. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did you have a wonderful stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
