Our top Brunswick area vacation rental booking tips and tricks:

How to get the best value:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can reserve a home, the easier your search will be. The best rental homes are booked early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are the most expensive season along the coast of NC. Reserve your rental in the Spring or Fall to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to obtain vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, property management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guides which often include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local businesses, or through a relationship between the management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Narrow your Search:

  • Select a group lead, select your vacation week, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Havana's Moon at Ocean Isle Beach, Custom Home with private pool, great location has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is usually available on booking pages. If not, reach out to the property management company before you reserve the property. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, search for a rental that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Usually, property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's a particular Brunswick area destination you long to visit, browse properties that are either close by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. .

Considerations for your stay:

  • Take a copy of the host's phone number and entry/exit procedures for your rental.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas upon check in. Make contact with the rental manager immediately to document your findings. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded problems and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your life at home. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and attractions you would have never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a fantastic vacation? Most rental home management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your feedback.
