How to book the best Brunswick area rental home experience:

When to reserve a Brunswick area rental & When to go:

  • The earlier you can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guide magazines have discounts for local accommodations, restaurants and tours.

Narrow your Search:

  • Begin by selecting your a vacation week and a spending budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family needs. Relaxing 4br\/2ba home accoss street from beach access, pet friendly! has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed counts is almost always available online. Otherwise, email the property owner before you book the home. Remember that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes pull-out couches.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a single attraction? Try a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

During your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Store the host's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Lock your rental while you're out. Protect your property!
  • Record any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors disrupting your peace. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Re-check the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to inspire future bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
