Tips to get the perfect Brunswick area vacation property experience:

When to reserve a Brunswick area rental home & When to go:

  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early. Reserving your rental home 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • Summer months are high season in Holden Beach. To get the most suitable rental home within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Brunswick area attractions.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for specifics.
  • Many rental management companies supply Brunswick area area travel guides which include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a relationship between the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Select a group lead, choose your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Hobbs Realty - \"Sea Moore Beaches\" - Oceanfront home with private pool and hot tub! has 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is often accessible on booking websites. Otherwise, contact the host before booking the rental. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you will need a property that allows animals. Get details on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some property managers require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Does your group require unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters for amenities. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. .

Advice for a fantastic stay:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property. Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, A/V setup or kitchen appliance. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent quite a few difficulties.
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let crooks spoil your vacation.
  • Make a record of any damages to the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be useful if a dispute is filed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the best seashells, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Upon check-out, take a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a wonderful vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they would love to hear about it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
