Tips to get the optimal rental home experience:

How to get the best rental home value:

  • The earlier your group can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summer time is high season in Carolina Beach. Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons is a great way to save on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the high season.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many property management companies supply Brunswick area area travel guides which will include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Finding the perfect rental home in the Brunswick area area:

  • Choose a group leader, select your trip dates, and select a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Cheers Beaches! Summa has 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is often available on booking websites. If not, email or call the property manager before booking the rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds.
  • If your group is bringing pets, search for a pet-friendly property. Ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Note that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • If there's a specific Brunswick area destination you long to visit, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

More considerations for your visit:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and check in/check out procedures for your rental. Store the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief telephone call prevents a lot of concerns.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are out. Protect your property!
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your family's visit, make note of any problem areas during arrival. Get in touch with the property manager right away to report any damages. If there is a dispute, having the recorded issues and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like loud visitors bothering your home life. Apply the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've never otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to enjoy a steak with a view, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property owners rely on excellent reviews to propel new reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
