  • Private vacation home

4 Bedrooms, 4 baths Home is charismatic and attractively located on Southern side of Oak Island to provide a direct beach access. The home has a cavernous living room, kitchen and bedrooms each with their own private bath. Savor the tank-less hot water heater, metal roof and exterior trek floor. There are hardwoods and tile with granite counter-tops on the cabinets.

The island has boat launches, a golf course, eateries, put-put golf, kayak and golf cart units, picnic areas, trails, skateboard park, splash pad park, shopping and plenty of access to the beach front for building sand castles and calming in the sun. Don't forget about the closeness to the Oak Island Bridge and Southport. You will want to spend some of your time here exploring the very cozy town of Southport.

If Golf is on your agenda, we can take care of that as well. With many top courses very close by, these courses will challenge even the scratch golfers. We look forward to having you visit us here for you to have a vacation to remember.

Once in Southport, you can take a Ferry either to impressive Bald Head Island for a day trip or a Ferry to Ft. Fisher and visit the aquarium. The North Carolina Battleship is a favorite destination in close by downtown Wilmington and Myrtle Beach is just South for even more to do.

Rental property booking tips:

Getting the best value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules often open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer vacations during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, consider changing your family's Brunswick area vacation week to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warmer weather, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Brunswick area area travel guides which will include coupons, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Brunswick area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

How to select the perfect rental home in the Brunswick area area:

  • First, have your family decide on a vacation week and a budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your family requires. Spacious 4BR\/4.5BA Home-Beautifully Decorated-Multiple Porches-Sleeps 8 has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area rentals search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible on booking websites. If not, call the property owner before reserving your rental. Note that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds in living rooms. You'll need to determine what is optimal for your vacation group.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you'll need to book a pet-friendly vacation rental. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Note that some hosts charge additional pet fees.
  • Does your family require particular amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for the less-mobile. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking

During your stay:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your smartphone. Take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or appliance. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent many problems.
  • Protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are out, just like you would back home.
  • During arrival, make note of any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the owner. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Be respectful. Frequently, adjacent homes are occupied by permanent residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Local residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Re-check the property to make sure that you've packed everything on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and look for damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition.
  • Leave a review! Property owners rely on good feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best rental home. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
