You will feel like this is your home away from home. This 3 bedroom home has comfortable beds and a great above ground pool in the fenced-in backyard. Bring your kids and your dog. This home is centrally located, close to I-40, UNCW, the airport, downtown Wilmington and Wrightsville Beach. There is a security camera pointing towards the driveway. The pool will be closed October through April.

When to go & When to reserve a rental home:

  • The earlier you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Booking your vacation property 6-12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Wilmington. To find the best value, try changing your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer pleasant weather, , and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
  • Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for program terms and fees.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for guests to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
