How to find the best vacation property experience:

How to get the best value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. Booking your Brunswick area vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is an excellent way to save money on your vacation rental. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable homes.
  • The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental home.
  • Owners sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Check with your property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide upon checking in. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guide magazines contain deals for local shops and restaurants.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Choose vacation week and spending budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the configuration your group requires. Discover Your Urban Oasis: Stay in the cities most quiet neighborhood! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rentals search.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed types is almost always available on booking pages. If not, reach out to the host before you book your home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
  • If there's a certain Brunswick area attraction you love, look for homes that are either close by, or those that cater to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. .
  • Traveling with pets? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement thoroughly! Additional pet fees or costs could be applied to your invoice.

More considerations:

  • Add the host's information to your phone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Record any issues with the rental at check in, and immediately contact the property manager. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be useful if there is a dispute.
  • Hosts are there to help! Don't be shy to ask questions during your stay.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your peaceful home. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've never otherwise known about!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night out, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Lock your rental property while you're gone! Don't let crooks ruin your family vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings at departure. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever possible. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a excellent vacation? Many rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your rental property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
