Come and savor your morning coffee on the deck while you listen to the ocean. Savor the ocean vistas while grilling on the charcoal grille. Build sandcastles and search for seashells right out the back door. Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom, with a king bed, and master bath is on the main level. There are two more bedrooms upstairs, both with one queen bed and one twin bed with twin trundle and Intelligent TV in each room. They share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. We also have a sleeper couch with a queen bed in the living room. Our home has a full size washer and dryer, a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator with water filtration system, microwave, and a Keurig. The living room has a Intelligent TV and blue ray player, wireless internet, and a wireless printer/scanner/fax machine. Our beaches are dog friendly, and as such, we do allow our guests to bring their dog with them for a fee. We simply ask that the dog not be over 40lbs or be allowed on any of the furnishings and be crated when you are not at the home. To access the ocean, please walk over the dune between the homes. You'll see that that area is not roped off. Serendipity Oceanside has everything you need for a relaxing, and fun hideaway!

Tips and Tricks to get the very best Brunswick area rental experience:

When to visit Oak Island & When to book:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, try changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer pleasant temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Find a copy of your local Brunswick area visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitors guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby tours, shops, and attractions.

How to select the perfect vacation home in the Brunswick area area:

  • Select vacation week and max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Serendipity Seaside-Private Oceanfront House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always available online. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property manager before you book the vacation home. Remember that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Does your family require specific amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are available and included before booking.
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, you'll need to book a property that allows animals. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Note that some hosts charge additional pet fees.

Tips for your stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before leaving home. Take a printed copy, and save the directions to your smartphone.
  • During arrival, make note of any issues with the property and immediately alert the host. Keep records of all correspondence just in case a dispute arises.
  • Hosts are great sources of help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll enhance your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a great resource to find the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by locking the rental when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings on check-out day. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was amiss and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make it a point as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
