Guests have access to washer and dryer, covered patio area with BBQ, swings for the kids, fire pit, beach chairs, a porta crib, a high chair, PS4, TV's in every bedroom, all linens included and parking for 2 cars. You will never run out of things to discover on Oak Island and you won't want to leave!

Getting the most from your spending budget:

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Get the property manager's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property. We recommend storing the host's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, A/V setup or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief phone call can prevent a lot of concerns.
  • Lock your rental while you are out and about. Keep your property safe!

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • Did you have a terrific time? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your property and/or property management company was wonderful, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
