Finding the best rental home experience:

Sticking to your rental home budget:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The earlier your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked early. Reserving your vacation rental up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental.
  • Summer time is high season in the Brunswick area area. To get the best vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your group qualifies for a discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer guests an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Brunswick area area magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitors guide magazines contain deals for local tours and attractions.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Start by choosing your trip dates and a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group needs. Villas at Seaside 109 B has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is normally accessible online. Otherwise, contact the property management company before you reserve the home. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds. You'll need to determine what bed configuration is suitable for your vacation.
  • If your group is bringing pets, filter your search for a pet-friendly vacation rental. Make sure to ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Some property managers charge additional pet fees.
  • Is your family looking for particular amenities? Most rental search websites include search filters with amenity lists.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or break a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

Additional considerations:

  • Take a copy of the owner's contact number and arrival/departure procedures for your .
  • Property managers are available to help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Protect your property!
  • Document any issues with the property upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain built-in time stamps that can be valuable if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disrespectful visitors disrupting your peace and quiet. Employ the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can usually help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all belongings on check-out day. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, ensure that you take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great reviews to compel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
