Pelcan Harbor is a ideal spot for a calming fun family get away! Southport is tucked away on the southeastern coast of North Carolina offering you the chance to vacation in a modest, charming, historic fishing community that really is idyllic. The condo (located across from the Morningstar Marina) provides you a relaxing space that is just a short walk away from the Southport Historic Yacht Basin and downtown business district. Dining and shopping options are generous at the Yacht Basin, on Howe and Moore Streets which are all within walking distance. The building provides tons of amenities including your personal carport parking and an elevator.

Come sip your morning coffee and savor the spectacular water vistas from your sizable, private, covered, 2nd floor veranda/deck that overlooks the intersection of Intracoastal Waterway and the mouth of the Cape Fear River. You can watch various birds and maybe even native gators trolling in the salt marsh. Pelicans, Ibises, Sea Gulls, Purple Martins and an occasional Osprey can be seen as they fly overhead. You can watch the boats and the ships as they transverse the waterways. The water vistas include Oak Island and Old Baldy Lighthouses, the Historic Southport Salt Marsh Boardwalk, and all the action at Morningstar Marina.

The condo has tons of windows that provide a striking view of the water from the kitchen/dining and living room areas. Vistas from the bedrooms lookout on the tops of handsome, old live oak trees and the main bedroom includes a second private deck ideal for sunbathing and looking out at the Morning Star Marina oak trees, docks, and yacht works.

Southport is very dog friendly with sidewalks all around town. We welcome you to bring your dog(s). We just ask that you let us know you are bringing your pet and how many furry family members are a part of your event. We want to make sure and welcome them too! Sorry we cannot accept cats.

The condo features intelligent TVs throughout (3 total), a comfortable king size bed in the primary (en suite) bedroom with a private bathroom that includes a enormous accessible step-in shower. There are 2 twin beds in the second bedroom with private access to a bath that has a huge whirlpool soaking tub with shower. There are 9" grab bars in both bathing areas and a shower bench if needed. The toilets in both bathrooms are comfort height and an elevated toilet seat is available for those who may need additional height accommodations. All linens/towels are included. Each bedroom has a huge walk-in closet to store all your belongings.

The living room area has a couch, recliner and 2 comfortable chairs providing plenty of seating options. There is a 4-chair dining area with a glass top table and a bar area with 4 barstools.

The kitchen is supplied with dishes, pots, pans, glasses and coffee mugs providing all the essential housewares required for your extended stay. A convection glass top stove/oven provides you the opportunity to prepare and bake if you choose to stay in instead of going out to the local eateries. There are 2 electrical coffee makers (12 cup drip and Keurig single cup), and a french press is available. A toaster, kettle, and microwave are also supplied.

Additional features include washer/dryer, WiFi, Cable TV, elevator access, reserved covered 2 car bay and additional parking in the back parking lot. If your family requires additional sleeping arrangements, a queen size deluxe Aerobed with linens is available upon request.
