Other Things To Note
Trip insurance: Life happens and the weather can be unpredictable. We strongly recommend trip insurance when traveling. It protects you in the event that you have to cancel outside of our cancellation policy window or experience trip interruption due to injury, illness, evacuation, or other reasons.

Linens: Your cleaning fee includes 100% cotton sheets from Eddie Bauer Home, 100% cotton bath towel sets, and kitchen towels and dish cloths. We do not include beach towels, so please plan to bring your own.

Vacation Rental Agreement: A rental agreement will be sent to you shortly after booking. Review and e-sign.

Supplies:
We will supply a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, a few dishwasher pods, a few laundry pods, and a few trash bags. We also supply full size Public Goods brand hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your use. Please plan accordingly on what you need to bring depending on your length of stay and product preferences.

Located by the sea, this cottage is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.

Find your perfect vacation home:

  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during holiday get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Brunswick area area. Reserve your rental home in Spring or Fall to enjoy beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.

Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your host for details.

  • Double-check every room of the property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the host whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
