Every member of your family (the furry ones included) will adore this Oak Island home! Within walking distance of the ocean and the Intracoastal Waterway, beach days will come effortlessly. When you aren't hanging out by the surf, head for one of the area's trendy eateries, coffee stores, or stores.

Oozing curb appeal, the exterior of your home away from home exudes an inviting aura. Walk up and you'll instantly take notice of the covered patio complete with rocking chairs. Right inside, the sun-filled living room is a place of serenity with its plentiful seating and enormous TV. The well-equipped kitchen presents a pleasant space to play chef, and when your meals are ready to be indulged in - gather around the formal dining table.

Airy, roomy, and simply decorated the bedrooms are equally comfortable with their high-quality linens and central air-conditioning. After days spent in the sun, you will adore rinsing off in the granite walk-in shower, and chores will stay at bay with the private washer/dryer.

Outside, everybody can stretch their legs in the enclosed backyard, equipped with a private outdoor shower.

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Oak Island. To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Brunswick area attractions and restaurants.
  • Hosts sometimes offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites usually offer customers an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost you between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check the property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Most rental managers make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it.
