“A Wave from It All” is a comfortable, calming coastal getaway tucked away on a peaceful street on the west side of Oak Island—just a 15-min. walk (½ mile) to the beach. Designed with comfort and family time in mind, this appealing home is the ideal place to relax and appreciate island life.
This kid-friendly home includes a high chair and portable crib for your convenience. (Parents of young kids are kindly asked to childproof the home upon arrival based on their kid’s needs.)
The home features three cozy bedrooms, including a king-size bed in the primary suite and queen beds in both the second and third bedrooms, sleeping up to six guests comfortably. We provide all linens and towels, and upon arrival your beds will be made with premium linens, so you can start relaxing right away.
You’ll find two full bathrooms, along with a private outdoor shower—ideal after a day at the beach. The completely supplied kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals, including a dual coffee maker that accommodates both K-cups and full pots.
The family room is set up for connection and relaxation, featuring a 55” Intelligent TV, DVD player with 30+ movies, board games, and books—something for everybody to savor.
Outside, there are multiple inviting spaces to relax:
• A front porch with rocking chairs
• A screened-in back porch with comfortable seating and soft lighting
• A solid wood porch swing in the backyard
Fire up the gas grille on the back deck (silverware supplied), and take advantage of the guest storage closet, supplied with beach chairs, body boards, sand toys, fishing poles, and coolers. We also provide three adult bicycles, making it painless and fun to discover the island.
Parking is simple with a private driveway, plus additional space for a boat trailer or golf cart. Several local companies offer golf cart units with delivery directly to the home.

About the Area
Located by the sea, this vacation home is in Tranquil Harbour, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Lighthouse and Bald Head Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Magic Mountain Fun Park. Jet skiing and kayaking offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with hiking/biking trails and cycling nearby.
