Welcome to the Coastal Coop! This classic oceanfront beach bungalow invites you to sit back and relax! You can even bring your favorite doggies (family pets or furry friends) as this home is pet friendly too! Delight in the beautiful vistas of the Atlantic from the oceanside covered porch. Appreciate family and friend time with a summer BBQ or low country boil at the beach. Plenty of dining space with a table for six and a kitchen island with barstools, seating three. For your entertainment four TVS located throughout, including both Roku and intelligent TVs with firesticks. An inviting unobstructed ocean view greets you, along with an open concept layout.

This adorable beach bungalow offers nice size king beds with comfortable comforters in three bedrooms and the fourth bedroom offering a fun “infant shark” (underwater/ ocean /kid) themed space including one twin and one bunk bed set-twin over full. There are two full bathrooms- one on each side of the home between bedrooms. A private walkway over the dunes for painless access to the beach, straight in front of the oceanside porch area. After a day at the beach rinse the salt and sand off in the private, enclosed hot/cold water shower located right beneath the home and right next to a private outdoor bathroom.

As you will find when selecting dates on the calendar, there are minimum stay requirements based on the season. There is a 7 nighttime minimum with a mandatory Saturday to Saturday rental pattern in the peak summer months, and there is more flexibility in the slower seasons. About the Area

Located on the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Franklin Square Gallery and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Oak Island Lighthouse and Bald Head Island Lighthouse. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. Sticking to a rental budget:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in Oak Island. To get the most suitable vacation home within your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Brunswick area restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Hosts sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.
