Come for the beach, stay for the town of Southport! Just a nineteen-min. drive will get you over the bridge and onto the beach! Savor access to the exclusive, Private St. James Plantation Beach Club with Oceanfront Pool, bathrooms, and private beach strand. (Note that paid, public parking on 72nd Street will need to be utilized.)

With a plethora of nature hiking, library, and restaurant options, you never have to leave the neighborhood! But if you want to go adventuring, you will also have Traveler access to the Club Villas pool, transient boat docking in the marina, access to the Intracoastal Waterway, and the private Beach Club in Oak Island. Not to mention the many award-winning eateries on the water in Southport, 5 mins. away!

Two Cozy and private King Bedroom Suites share a kitchen and living /dining area. A living room balcony is ideal for watching the birds and sunsets. Our condo features comfortable beds with full privacy between sleeping areas, Intelligent TVs, and tasteful furnishings.

The Club Villas pool will typically be open for use from May 1st to the second week of October.

Rental Policies:

In response to the increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Golf Carts are prohibited at this property.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4:00 pm and are guaranteed by 6:00 pm

Check Out is by 10:00 am

We adhere to this policy, so please do not arrive early or plan to delay your departure.

Pool Notice:

Pools are generally open from Memorial Day until Labor Day; however, pool closures may be dictated by the HOA or the Health Department. Pools may also be closed after a hurricane or tropical storm. Sea Coast Units/Owners will not be held accountable. No refunds will be issued for these closures.



Pet Policy:

No family pets allowed.



Cancellation Policy:

We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund. If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.



Things To Do:

Oak Island is known for its golden sand beaches, calming blue waters, friendly community, and proximity to the cities of Southport, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach. There are many cute island coffee stores, stores, breweries, and a park that showcases a splash pad for summer fun! With a handsome Golf Club open to summer travelers and over 100 public water access points, there is an abundance of all things adventurous to do on Oak Island!



If you'd like to keep your exercise routine going while on vacation, you can get an out-of-town Gym pass at Oak Island Recreation Center. Utilize the Rec Center's ample parking, put in at the Kayak ramp, and spend hours kayaking our impressive marshes. Sit on the lawn and savor a nighttime off cooking at our Weekly Friday nighttime "Summer Concert In The Park" with a couple of local food truck options at this family-centric Live Music event. Beach Day takes place in Oak Island on the Friday before July 4th and features all-day activities followed by fireworks on the island that evening.



Visit Historic Southport, a seafaring town just five miles from our island, for a bigger nightlife. Southport, at the confluence of the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean, features a variety of different eateries, bars, live music and shopping. It is one of our favorite places to walk around and check out different food and live music on the weekends. There are complimentary parking options all over town, and you can comfortably walk to dozens of places while appreciating the breeze from the riverfront and admiring historic homes and general store buildings that date back to the early 1800s. Southport's State Fourth of July Festival is a three-day street fair with artists from all over the state, vendors, and food. It is really like being in an Andy Griffith episode with the parade and grandiose finale fireworks show over the riverfront in Southport.

The Neighborhood:

Located directly on the border of North Carolina and South Carolina’s coasts, Calabash is known as the “Seafood Capital of the World”. This modest fishing town originated "Calabash-Style" seafood, a distinctive style of fried seafood of clams, fish, shrimp, and oysters dipped in a light, flavorful batter and fried quickly. The Calabash River borders the southern part of town, where shrimp boats dock daily during the season, selling fresh-caught treasures. The family-friendly community is proud of its culinary connection, featured at local seafood eateries along Beach Drive and River Road. Be sure to try one of the original riverside eateries like Captain Nance's Seafood for crisp, authentic Calabash seafood and vistas of fishing boats. Although seafood and fishing certainly bring this community together, Calabash offers so much more for visitors, with close by Sunset Beach, Ocean Isle Beach, Cherry Grove Beach, Swamp Park, Ingraham Aquarium, local fishing charters, and boating tours on the Calabash River.



Getting Around:

Getting around Oak Island is painless! The closest major airport is Wilmington International Airport (ILM), roughly a 45-min. drive away. From the property, you can conveniently access local stores and eateries by car or even a leisurely walk. Golf Carts allowed at certain properties only. Public transportation options are limited in Oak Island, so having a car is recommended to make the most of your family vacation. Appreciate the freedom to discover the handsome beaches, close by attractions, and appealing coastal towns at your own pace.
