Strategies to get the very best vacation rental experience:

When to visit & When to book:

  • The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation rental.
  • To find the largest rental for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Brunswick area attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Some hosts offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many management companies supply Brunswick area area visitors guides which often include special offers, either offered directly by local businesses, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Choosing and booking yourvacation home:

  • Start by having your family select dates and a maximum budget.
  • Note the number beds and the bed configuration you need. Waterfront Treasure w\/Ping-Pong Table, Free WiFi, Central AC, Deck, Private W\/D has 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Brunswick area vacation rental search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually accessible online. If they are not listed, contact the property manager before booking your rental. Remember that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches. You will need to establish what is optimal for your vacation family.
  • Some properties allow pets, and others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask the property management company about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's a certain Brunswick area beach you long to visit, keep an eye out for rentals that are either close by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Confirm all required amenities are included before reserving a rental.

More considerations:

  • Be sure you get the property manager's phone number and check in/check out procedures for your rental property.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, stereo or appliance. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Lock your rental while you are out. Keep your property safe!
  • At Check-in, make note of any damages to the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Respecting quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors can be a fantastic source for finding the best local restaurants, beaches, and hangouts.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, walk through the property to confirm you've collected all personal items. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Remember to leave a review! Property managers rely on good ratings to propel future reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback find their best vacation rental. Remember to be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
