The home is ideally located along the marsh, offering a front-row seat to the marvelous wildlife and natural beauty of Bald Head Island. From the living room or broad deck, take in sweeping vistas across acres of marshland and Bald Head Creek all the way toward the Cape Fear River.
One of the most special parts of staying here is watching the marsh come to life around you. Keep an eye out for white ibis, herons, egrets, ospreys, deer, marsh rabbits, fiddler crabs, blue crabs, and even the occasional alligator making its way through the waterways. The ever-changing marsh landscape offers something new to see throughout the day, whether you're appreciating your morning coffee on the deck, calming in the afternoon, or watching the sunset over the water.

The private neighborhood dock is connected to the home by a boardwalk and provides the ideal place to get even closer to the marsh. Spend the afternoon fishing, crabbing, kayaking, or simply sitting by the water and enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Three kayaks — one tandem and two individual — are available for guest use.

When you're ready to discover, the marina, eateries, and Old Baldy are all within an painless walk. Load up the golf carts and head to the grocery store or one of Bald Head Island's handsome beaches.

Availability varies by home listing, and during the summer season, memberships may sell out quickly. We strongly recommend securing your club membership as early as possible.

Additionally, the Bald Head Island ferry system is independently operated and is not affiliated with BHI Vacations. To ensure a smooth arrival and departure, we encourage guests to book ferry and tram reservations well in advance.
