The Green Teal location is ideal! Beachfront, walking distance to the Ferry, close to all the eateries by the marina and you can see Old Baldy! It’s also near the post office and the Chapel. If you’re hungry or thirsty it’s a short cart ride or walk to Delphina’s, Sandpiper Coffee & Ice Cream, Jules' Salty Grub & Island Pub, and Will O’ The Wisp. You can also relax and appreciate the BHI Club or The Shoals eateries with the temporary access available for purchase with Green Teal (costs do apply).

*This is a DOG FRIENDLY HOME: A non-returnable Pet fee of $300 will be added to your rental if you choose to bring your dog. And for 2 Dogs the Pet Fee is $450 - Please note: Dogs are not allowed on any furnishings, couch or beds, damages and additional cleaning apply for these rules are not followed.

Bald Head Island Activities
Bald Head Island is a private island where you can only get to by boat or ferry. This is a golf cart only island. Leave your car behind and cruise on the golf cart supplied at the home. The island is roughly 5 by 2 miles. You can bicycle around the island in only an hour or two! Bald Head Island is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, stores, eateries, and activities.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is on the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation. Sticking to a budget:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are booked early.   • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
