Washashore is completely equipped for your vacation. A huge cooler, beach toys and plenty of beach chairs are all available. There is also plenty of of covered/shaded area on the ground floor with a table for calming, storage and staging your day at the beach


You’ll appreciate the open floor plan in this one story home. Washashore has been completely refreshed newly with new furnishings, HD flat screen TVs, floors, carpeting and paint. The bedroom arrangement is ideal for a one or two families with 4 adults and total of 2-4 kids. BHI Info:
BHI is a private island where you can only get to by boat or ferry. This is a golf cart only island. Leave your car behind & cruise on the golf cart included at the home. The island is approx. 5 by 2 miles. You can bicycle around the island in only an hour or two! BHI is home to the oldest Lighthouses in North Carolina. There are many nature hikes, wildlife watches, beach accesses, stores, eateries, & activities.
BHI Activities:
-Rent bicycles at Coastal Urge or Riverside Adventure Company.
-Rent a stand up paddle board from Coastal Urge as well!
-Climb Old Baldy Lighthouse!
-Go on a historic island tour from the Old Baldy Foundation.
-Take a ghost walk, sail, surf, or kayak with the Sail Shop.
-Take a hike on the many trails.
-For a guided hike, guided kayak, or guided canoe trip visit the Bald Head Island Conservancy.
