“Always Ride The Wave” is a newly decorated, freshly furnished two bedroom / two bath condo located in Royal James with its own private community pool, outdoor shower and BBQ area. The handsomely refreshed kitchen is completely supplied for all your cooking desires. The master suite contains a King size bed with a private bathroom that includes a tub/shower combo. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed with a bath containing a tub / shower combo. This condo has an in unit laundry closet plus both bedrooms have TV's in them. A pull out couch is in the living room for additional guests. There are two refreshed furnished balconies both accessible from each bedroom or main living area. The back balcony has a golf course view with ambient lighting while the front one looks over the pool. They are ideal for outdoor dining, your morning coffee or your afternoon drink  We also include a brand new 4 passenger golf cart for your Island cruising, wifi, 4 bicycles and a temporary lifestyle membership to the BHI Club and Shoals. The memberships are an additional fee purchased directly through the clubs.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this condo is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's landmarks include Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Sticking to your rental home budget:

• In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can book a vacation home, the better your selection will be. The best rental homes are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
• June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. To find the largest rental for your budget, we highly recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host if your vacationing group qualifies for a discount.
• Property management companies typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.

• Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are beneficial if a dispute arises.
• Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Apply the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great restaurants and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
• Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
• At departure, complete a final walk-through to make sure you didn't leave anything behind. Check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the rental a final time and look for damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the rental to record its condition.
• After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to compel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will will be grateful for your experience find their best vacation rental. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
