You will adore everything Timbercreek 18A has to offer for your vacation to Bald Head Island. Besides the comfortable accommodations and the pretty creek vistas, you have access to one of the few private pools on the island and our Timbercreek dock. We rent Sunday to Sunday from mid June through the first week of August. Feel complimentary to use our two kayaks to discover the creek. The dock also accepts for crabbing and fishing just steps from the condo. We provide two golf carts for exploring the island and for painless access to the beach of course!

There is a garage that stores one of the golf carts, beach amenities, and a full size washer and dryer. All Timbercreek buildings consist of two properties. The A unit is the top floor, the B unit is the middle floor and the garages are on the base floor. The buildings are gorgeously spaced apart so you can savor sitting on the outdoor screened in porch. We have comfortable patio seating for 6-7 guests.

You have the option to purchase a weekly membership to the Bald Head Island Club for access to their pools, tennis courts, eateries, and golf course.

About the Area

This condo is located in Bald Head Island. Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. With kayaking, motor boating, and surfing/body boarding nearby, you'll find plenty of adventures in the water.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Hosts rely on good ratings to inspire new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't right, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to solve it.
