Located in the Maritime Forest, seemingly far away from it all, but surprisingly close to everything: two mins. to the beach or market; three to Old Baldy and the BHI Club. Though you may never want to leave the back porch. After a day or riding the waves, sink deep in the cushions with a drink and book and end up quietly pondering the sculptural intricacies of Live Oak trees.
The living room has a cathedral ceiling that floods the room with light and makes the comfortable space feel even bigger. The 46-inch intelligent TV is perched above a rare cedar mantle. Live Edge Oak shelves add more warmth to the room. The open floor plan, flowing into the dining area, gives everybody the chance to be together-and spread out. In the kitchen, stainless steel nestles up to old heart pine shelving. The upstairs bedroom and full bath are the ideal getaway along with a separate living room. In the crofter, over the garage, is yet another queen bed and full bath. Three golf carts. Membership to the BHI Club available.

Getting the most from your rental budget:

• Summer months are high season in the Brunswick area area. To get the best value, try shifting your vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer excellent temperatures, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the Summer months.

• Property management companies often offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.

• Inspect the property one final time and scan for any damage. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take pictures of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
• Did your group have a fantastic vacation? Most rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was terrific, they always love to hear your praise.
