Finding the best rental home experience:

Money saving strategies:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. Reserve your Brunswick area vacation home in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of gorgeous weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities.
  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are reserved very early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental.
  • Owners sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans and active duty military. Remember to ask your property manager if rate reductions are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Look for your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, visitor guide magazines contain offers and deals for nearby restaurants, attractions, and tours.

Choosing the perfect rental home in the Brunswick area area:

  • Start by having your group commit to vacation dates and a spending budget.
  • Decide how many beds and the configuration your group needs. The Sunsetter by WB Abodes has 1 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific information about bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before you reserve the home. Note that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds. You'll need to establish what configuration is suitable for your vacation family.
  • Visiting for a specific attraction? Use a map search to locate nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before booking
  • Are you bringing the family pet? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or charges could be applied to your contract.

Tips to have a smooth stay:

  • Review check in & check out procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the directions to your phone.
  • To make sure that damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect the rental for any problem areas during arrival. message the host immediately to relay any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be very helpful.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a hot tub, intercom or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message prevents lots of problems.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are an excellent resource to find the best local beaches.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to spend a rainy day, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
  • Keep the property locked while you're gone! Don't let thieves ruin your vacation.
  • Double-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed all personal items at check-out. Remember to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your family have a fantastic stay? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was defective and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
