Wonderful home located on the marsh with fantastic vistas of wildlife and acres of marshland viewable from the living room or deck. Excellent vistas of Bald Head Creek all the way to Cape Fear River. Appreciate kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and crabbing with the kids right off the private neighborhood dock connected to the home by a boardwalk. The home features an refreshed kitchen with stainless steel appliances, wine refrigerator and granite counter tops. New en suite bathroom for 2015! New expanded deck (2016) facing the marsh with wrought iron table, 6 chairs and umbrella. New wood floor installed throughout the home in 2018.
A tandem kayak and 2 individual kayaks are available to kayak on the marsh directly behind the home.
It's an painless walk to the marina, eateries and Old Baldy. The grocery store is a fast drive by golf cart. Several beaches are effortlessly accessible by golf cart. Swimming pool and dining are available with a Bald Head Island Club membership. (Separate fee charged by BHI club) NO GOLF

Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is on the waterfront. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Oak Island Lighthouse are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina. North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and Bald Head Island Information Center are also worth visiting. Getting the best value:

• Summer is high season in the Brunswick area area. To get the largest rental home within budget, we highly recommend booking in the Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Brunswick area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Reserve your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families book their Summer vacation rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
• Property managers typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which usually will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses.
