Conveniently located near the marina and the Old Baldy Lighthouse. Feel impressive vistas of the Oak Island Lighthouse, Cape Fear River, and the Atlantic Ocean, where you can watch ships and local fishermen pass by—creating the ideal backdrop for your gatherings.

Upon entering the first floor of the main home of Beacon Point Inn, which accommodates up to 10 guests, you'll find a comfortable gathering area with a designated wet bar and a game/puzzle library. Bedrooms are located on the first and second floors of the main home, including four bedrooms on the first floor and a primary bedroom on the second floor. The first-floor bedrooms are cozy, each with an en-suite bathroom, including one with a king bed (tub/shower) and three with queen beds (shower). A new washer and dryer are conveniently located on the first-floor level. The primary bedroom is located in a private setting on the second floor and offers a alluring balcony.

The thoughtfully designed reverse floor plan of the main home showcases huge windows, filling the space with impressive vistas of West Beach and the Cape Fear River—really an impressive backdrop for cherished family memories. Gather around the cavernous living area or savor al fresco dining on the covered porch while relishing gorgeous sunset reflections over the water. The comfortable, well-equipped kitchen features a wrap-around bar, a separate coffee bar area (complete with a coffee pot, Keurig, Nespresso, and electric tea kettle), a gas range, granite countertops, and bespoke cabinetry, making it ideal for culinary adventures and family meals.

This southern gem, with its broad covered wrap-around porch and decks, is not just about space—it's about hosting a amazing vacation experience. Unwind, unplug, and take some time to appreciate one of the many rocking chairs while sharing conversations and creating memories.

The annex, known as Lightkeepers Cottage, is available for separate rental in non-peak months of the year. This appealing two-bedroom, two-bath space accommodates a max. of 8 guests and features a cozy central sitting room, ideal for appreciating morning coffee. The first bedroom features a roomy king bed, while the second bedroom features a two bespoke double bunk bed designed for adults and kids alike, complete with a queen-sized bottom bunk and an additional-enormous twin bed on top. Both bedrooms come with en-suite bathrooms. You can search for the Lightkeepers Cottage separately online for availability and booking information.

After a day at the beach, enjoy additional family activities with ample game space in the garage, including a ping pong table, 4 across game, corn hole, and other outdoor games. You’ll have access to eight owner-supplied bicycles, body boards, beach chairs, and beach shade, along with an additional full-sized refrigerator for additional drink and food storage. A traditional gas grille and a flat-top grille are available for outdoor dining options (please note that amenities are not guaranteed and may change at any time). Guests also benefit from included 6-seater and 4-seater club carts, with additional charging space available for optional rental carts. The close by beach access, just steps from your front door, is a local favorite for fishing, boasting some of the best spots on the island.

Beacon Point Inn not only offers unique spaces in the main home but also in Lightkeepers Cottage, accepting you to host up to 18 guests. This property supports multi-generational gatherings, featuring an elevator (for adult use only). It offers options for sharing this experience with your four-legged companions (up to two, with flea/tick preventive required). Please note this home does have an elevator but is not ADA compliant.

As a additional, enhance your experience with the option of a temporary membership (available for separate purchase) at the esteemed Bald Head Island Club. Temporary Membership includes access to golf, dining, pool, exercise, tennis, pickleball, and croquet. Guests must have a temporary BHI Club membership to access the club. Once you’ve booked Beacon Point Inn and/or Lightkeepers Cottage, please reach out to the club immediately to secure your reservation, as memberships are limited and tend to sell out quickly, especially during peak periods.

Check-in and check-out days in the summer season are Sunday to Sunday. Ferry reservations should be made to coincide with the assigned check-in/out times, which are 3:30 pm for property check-in and 9:00 am for property check-out. Ferry reservations should be made no earlier than 3:00 pm for arrivals and no later than 9:30 am for departures. There are no accommodations made for early check-in or late arrivals.

The Main House: Sleeps 10 (max.). 5 bedrooms (1K-1K-1Q-1Q-1Q). 4 full baths. 1 half bath. (2) 4 passenger carts. Adjacent to beach access. Pet-friendly. BHI Club access for an additional fee. Linens and bath towels are included with the rental as well as a starter set of kitchen and bath amenities.

The Annex, Lightkeepers Cottage. Sleeps 8 (max.) 2 Bedrooms, 2 full baths. (1K- Bunk beds with XL twin/double for each bunk). (2) 4 passenger carts. Adjacent to beach access. Not Pet-friendly when renting just the annex. BHI Club access for an additional fee. Linens and bath towels are supplied with the rental as well as a starter set of kitchen and bath amenities.

During non-peak periods, you can rent the main home, Beacon Point Inn, without renting Keeper's Cottage. You may also rent just Keeper's Cottage, the annex, without renting the main home, Beacon Point Inn. However, when renting both the main home and annex, the renter must be the same event. Units are not available for two different rental guests at the same time.
