Strategies to get the perfect Brunswick area vacation home experience:

When to go & When to reserve a Southport rental home:

  • In the Brunswick area area, The sooner your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are booked early. Reserving your rental home six - twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Booking in Fall or Spring is a good way to save money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host if your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Booking websites typically offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Find a copy of your local visitors guide when you check-in. If your rental property doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. In addition to great local articles, visitor guide magazines contain coupons for local shops and restaurants.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Choose a group leader, select your trip dates, and select a max budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Sinderellas Rockefellas Accommodation & Onsite Bridal Boutique has 1 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our vacation rental search.
  • Specific details about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always available online. Otherwise, reach out to the host before you book the property. Remember that most property listings specify maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to find a property that allows animals. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type requirements. Usually, property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? Try a map search to locate nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental.

More tips for your visit:

  • Get the owner's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your . Put the manager's contact information in your smartphone and wallet.
  • Hosts are available to help! Don't be shy to ask questions before, during, or after your stay.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you're out! Don't let thieves ruin your family vacation.
  • Record any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that can be very helpful if there is a dispute.
  • Don't forget to respect your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check every room of the vacation property to confirm that you've packed everything at check-out. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to inspire future reservations. They'll be grateful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationing families will will be grateful for your feedback find their best vacation home. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to fix it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
